Agora Watch respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how information is handled when you use the Agora Watch Android application. 

Information Stored on Your Device

Agora Watch allows you to maintain TV and movie watchlists, track viewing progress, mark episodes and movies as watched, create a custom TV watchlist, select streaming services, configure notifications, and save profile preferences and app settings.

This information is stored locally on your device. Agora Watch does not require you to create an online account, and this locally stored watchlist and viewing-history information is not uploaded to an Agora Watch account or server.

Information You Provide

You may choose to enter profile information within the app, such as a display name and username. This information is used for your in-app profile and is stored locally on your device.

Agora Watch also allows you to import compatible watch-history or watchlist data from supported services or applications. Imported information is used to populate the applicable features of Agora Watch.

Third-Party Services and Data

Agora Watch connects to third-party services to provide app functionality, including information about television shows, movies, cast members, artwork, ratings, availability, episode schedules, and sports programming.

Movie, television, cast, artwork, ratings, and availability information is provided using data from TMDB. This product uses the TMDB API but is not endorsed or certified by TMDB.

Agora Watch may also use third-party data services, including TVmaze, to obtain television scheduling and episode airtime information. Sports schedules and related programming information may be obtained from third-party sports data sources.

When Agora Watch communicates with these services, technical information ordinarily required to make an internet request, such as your device's IP address, may be processed by those third-party services. Their handling of information is governed by their own privacy policies.

Streaming Services and External Apps

Agora Watch can display where movies, television programs, and sports are available to watch. Selecting a streaming provider may open that provider's installed Android application or direct you to its Google Play listing if the application is not installed.

Agora Watch is independently developed and is not affiliated with any streaming service, movie studio, television network, sports league, or tracking service unless expressly stated.

Notifications

If you enable notifications, Agora Watch may provide episode reminders, premiere reminders, and daily summaries. Notification preferences are stored on your device. Android system notification permissions can be controlled through your device settings.

Advertising

Agora Watch does not currently display third-party advertising.

Sale of Personal Information

Agora Watch does not sell your personal information.

Children's Privacy

Agora Watch is a general-audience entertainment application and is not specifically directed toward children under 13. Agora Watch does not knowingly collect personal information from children through an Agora Watch account or server.

Data Retention and Deletion

Because Agora Watch's watchlist, viewing progress, profile preferences, and settings are stored locally on your device, you can remove information using available controls within the app. Uninstalling Agora Watch will generally remove locally stored application data, subject to Android backup or device-management functionality.

Changes to This Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy may be updated as Agora Watch develops and new features are introduced. Any changes will be posted on this page with an updated effective date.
